Salvador Bahia, bit of info that may be useful if anyone is going there for the first time.

Hey, I've just been in salvador bahia for a bit and thought I'd share a bit of info I'd have have found useful before I went. First there's Loads of capoeira there really, a mini capoeira heaven. Second it's not cheap! Really, I paid as much as I pay for training in the uk and that was one of the cheaper schools. A capoeira Angola school wanted 50 reais for a single lesson! Theres capoeira schools in the historic area which is safe for tourists. Theres also capoeira two evenings a week at the forte de st Antonio or forte de capoeira. Theres a Friday night Roda there with an Angola mestre that's free to watch and open to train in. I'd recommend it as an experience. Lots of pre prep with incense etc
2ND A lot of Salvador is unsafe for locals and definitely for tourists. Taxis are super expensive and require bartering and knowing what a fair price is. I recommend downloading and using Uber. Be careful of your phone while you're waiting though! Phone snatching is common even in broad daylight. Buying a new phone is nigh on impossible as they are incredibly expensive out there due to tax.
Third, everyone there is a 'capoeira master '..... beware private lessons from capoeiristas specially if you're young pretty and female! They'll rip you off. There are some genuine folk but unless you've got a fair amount of experience it's hard to sniff them out.
Fourth do not pay anyone to take you to a candomble ceremony. Tourist guides will try to get anything between 150 and 300 reias out of you to view one. Go to a candomble drumming lesson or orixa dances lesson and ask people who are drumming for it or teaching it to recommend one. The only cost will be of the Uber to get you there..
Fifth nothing is for free. Believe noone who claims they will give you something for nothing. It's a lie! And everyone who you meet in a formal capacity eg Capo teachers etc will view you as having unending large amounts of money, if you go out with any teachers etc be expected to be expected to pay taxi fares and possibly drinks. I was very clear about expecting to splitting the fare when I went and the concept of roundsš.
On the other hand there are people who have nothing and will share everything they have with you, fellow travellers normally and later as you get to know folk some brazilians.

Theres also capoeira two evenings a week at the forte de st Antonio or forte de capoeira Basically, they have open rodas at the forte at least four evenings a week. And there is a roda or several rodas somewhere everyday besides monday. The best way to know about every location and time is to go to Lua Rasta Atelier. He has the schedule of all of the regular capoeira angola rodas on the wall in front of the entrance. Also, this is the best way to know about lessons, just to visit some open rodas first and conversate with people, they'll guide you and provide relevant information. For lessons, I would recommend to visit Casa Amarela of Mestre Guaxini. He is very kind and open-minded person, really dedicated to traditions of capoeira angola. Go to a candomble drumming lesson or orixa dances lesson FUNCEB Dance School is the best place for orixa dances and any afro-brazillian dance lessons. I would recommend Vera Passos and Tatiana Campello as teachers. Theres a Friday night Roda Roda of Mestre Lua Rasta. Sometimes it attracts weirdos and inadequate or just very tricky players, so you must be on the alert when playing.

I used to work with guy who lives up that way and knows the area well ... he said there is a surprising amount of old shafts up that way - some filled in and some not at all, just covered with brush.

Heās got a history of drug abuse and addiction; Xanax; MDMA; cocaine; LSD; Ketamine; cocaine he was highly addicted to and was constantly going through psychosis; ketamine he was really addicted to also and would just be snorting it for no reason because his tolerance was so high he didnāt even feel the high anymore; Xanax he wasnāt āaddictedā to bc every time heād do he just act so fucking retarded and scary he knew he had to stop, it was like the devil drug as most people know... when you take a few bars you become so careless itās dangerous. Heās on felony probation now and has been sober all drugs and alcohol for almost 2 years... a few weeks ago he discovered GHB. I know a lot about drugs but GHB I only heard of once in Berlin in a club and was told itās the one drug you canāt openly do there bc theyāll assume itās being used for date rape. The only other time I heard of it some older dude told me it was popular in his friend group back in the early 2000s and that it was super dangerous; he told of a girl who took it, passed out for like 12 hours and shit herself multiple times while she was passed out. I just want to learn more about what the dosages (I see people on here talking about mL and also Grams?) are people usually take, how long it lasts, how often people redose and how much. What drugs to not mix it with. Thanks in advance for any knowledge you can provide me with.

The only things I'll add to what's on that page is, GHB is usually a liquid and is dosed in ml. The concentration of the G matters, it's commonly ~0.5-0.8g/ml
That and G addiction is one of the worst addictions you can have, make sure your friend realizes once you're addicted it's literally a dose every 2 hours just to prevent withdrawals. You can use G responsibly but you have to respect it, this isn't a drug to push your luck with.

A bit of info about Peni Parker

I saw someone in another thread mention they had no idea what Peni did and I thought it might be a good idea to share a bit of info about Peni to make the most of having her on your team.
Firstly, her webs don't affect you (they passively heal her a bit and grant her some bonus health so she loves standing in them), but a good Peni is putting mines in them because they're invincible and invisible to enemies while webbed, so you can help lead enemies into them.
Her Spider Nest makes a massive webbed area that also constantly launches tiny spider drones that home in on any enemy in the net. Not only that, Peni usually has 2-4 mines placed in the nest as well, making it one of the safest places you can stand in when melee enemies are diving you. Her nest can be destroyed and can't be cast again for 15 seconds if destroyed, so this is why she always places it behind cover. The webs extend past the cover though.
Another tip is that Peni can stun an enemy every 3 seconds (...theoretically). If your Peni player has good aim, you can rack up a lot of kills by taking advantage of any stuns she lands, so try to keep near her if she's got her nest in a good position (usually somewhere right behind a wall/cover on the point or near the cart, or a medium distance from the current chokepoint if trying to regain footing on an objective). If you're ranged, don't be afraid to chill with your Peni!
Lastly, when she ults she gains lots of bonus health and move speed and constantly spawns webs, mines, and drones, so the area she's moved through should be safer than usual for you. Don't follow her if it's a bad play, but also don't underestimate how much momentum your team can get if you take advantage of any ground gained from this.
(I know it's a meme that no one understands the basics but I just have to say it, yellow web safe, red web bad. A lot of people seem to avoid webs entirely, which is fair, but don't be afraid of the yellow! They're from the Peni on your your team!)
Top Comment: Great stuff. Wish more people knew how she worked. Sheās my main and I love her play style. Had a match earlier with a Groot on my team and the 2 of them together on a team gives insane zone control. Definitely recommend people try that combo.

It was obvious that Barnabas was a dictator but knowing that he is actively looking at other nations to take over makes that scene in the trailer between Hugo, Bene, Barnabas more interesting. Barnabas probably letās Clive and friends destroy the crystals so that more people are tempted to join Waloed as the places left with aether sources decreases.

I got some interesting news for yah all. It was from another community so it might be flawed.
It was recently known that one Korean researcher got a mail from Quantum Energy Research, about a request to hold a conference for their new discovery.
I'm not pre-judging from all this until relication is completed. But lot of Korean users believe this whole event is a fraud since this was posted on DCinside, their largest community so far.

Top Comment: I highly advise staying away from the Neptune 4 / 4 Pro. Elegoo uses MKS electronics and the MKS Klipper hardware is riddled with issues. The MKS Pi and MKS SKIPR and in turn the N4 board which is a modified version of the SKIPR use the RK3328 mcu which is barely adequate to run Klipper at all and has frequent mcu disconnect issues. If you want more examples of how bad this hardware is look at the Libre Renegade it uses the same chip and has the same issues. You are MUCH better off getting a BTT Pad 7 or BTT Pi4 Adapter with CB1, or something else that is proven to be reliable and installing Klipper on and of the previous Neptune printers. None of the other hardware "upgrades" on the 4 are worth the headaches that I guarantee you will have with the 4. Some of the early testers already are having issues and planned live streams have been postponed by Elegoo due to issues. Additionally while I hope it's just a weird edge case one tester plugged it into their pc via usb and fried the pc usb port.
Bit more Info upon the broken release of WuWa

I wont say much about the apologies, the controvercies or any sorts, but i think we can all agree that the release version of WuWa shouldnt have been the release version of WuWa.
But i want to give some context on why exactly it happened. (This reasoning has been mentioned in another reddit post, where they speculated the release date of WuWa, but i couldnt find it again). But basically.
WuWa sadly took a bad time to create a publishing license
Now, you need a publishing license to release a game, which only lasts for one year before it expires.
They applied it October, they still had 5 months, right?
Yes and no. Yes technically they had 5 months, but no, it would have conflicted with other game releases or events..
The conflicting events are
- June: Elden Ring DLC release
- July: Release of ZZZ
- August: Genshin 5.0
- September: Genshin anniversary
- October: The WuWa License expires
Whatever they choose afterwards would conflict with any of those events. Could they have pushed back the release date more, to reapply the license and lose even more money, but polish the game even more? Maybe. But we know the results now, and whats done is done
Edit: a lot of people do mention that either Elden ring or Genshin anniversary do not coorolate to the release, but you need to know that also a lot of the marketing stems from CC and streamers, which not a small part would stream Elden ring before anything else, while genshin anniversary.... yeah i dont know why they didnt pull over at that stop either (Maybe they dont want to cause much "beef" with Hoyoverse?), i just know that those points are the highest points in the sphere that i am in that might be reason for this decision (ZZZ in terms is also a gacha, so if you launch 2 gachas in the same month you will inevidibly see people compare them just because of that)
